Importance of arthropods
Arthropods are ancient and play an important part in the natural order they keep food webs alive, they are also responsible for the fruit and vegetables we eat bees and honey pot ants take pollin from flower to flower which fertilizes some species of flowers allowing them to reproduce and create the fruits vegies we eat, they help us with medecine in the form of certain anti-venoms.
My favorite arthropods
I will do one for each of the 4 to keep this simple. for arachnids my favorite is probably the skeleton leg tarantula this species is nocturnal in captivity they rarely leave their burrow except at night, they look amazing. for crustaceans king crab it looks amazing and is covered in spikes but the main reason I like it is probably how good it is to eat king crab tastes softer and sweater than lobster and sweater than crawfish(to me at least to me). myriapods probably centipedes take a tank and make it a train alive and give it mandibles and you have centipedes they are amored legged rockets they can chase their prey down easily and have one of the strongest venoms I've heard of they can leave a grown Adult on the floor for hours. and finally insects trap jaw ants this species is known for a powerful sting and the thing they are most famous for are their mandibles they can use them to fling themselves. in fact its believed to be the fastest jaw in the animal kingdom..
