LSU
According to the requirements I set earlier; Family nearby, low cost/In-state tuition, Engineering, and Big Campus, LSU fits most of these. If I went to LSU I would have family nearby. LSU has a good engineering program. LSU has a big campus located in a big city. The only downside to LSU is that it would cost a lot more since there is no in-state tuition.

Texas A&M
According to the requirements I set earlier (Family nearby, low cost/In-state tuition, Engineering, and Big Campus). If I went to Texas A&M I would have family close but not as close as LSU. Texas A&M would be a lot cheaper than LSU because of in-state tuition. A&M has a really big campus too. Finally Texas A&M is ranked 7th among public schools.
Overall A&M is the better choice for me.
