About the Cult / Religion
The Cult of Lobsterphone, over time, developed a religion that showed basic philosophies, and how to honor them. To be honest, it's really not that much of a religion. The people in the religion don't actually believe in the gods within it. They, rather, look up to them as philosophical entities. Ones that symbolize life and existence.
There are three main gods in the religion. Here are some quick summaries of their attributes.
Lobsterphone
Lobsterphone represents all good. He is the culmination of positivty. Lobsterphone is the main god worshipped by the cult. He is physically shown as the normal
"Lobster Telephone" staue.
Antiphone
Antiphone is the opposite of Lobsterphone. He represents all bad. He is the culmination of all negativety. The cult largely despises Antiphone, as he is the reason for all that is bad in existence. He is shown physically as a sickly green version of Lobsterphone, with glowing white eyes.
Salem
Salem is the neutral god. They are a combination of both Lobsterphone and Antiphone. Salem is the culmination of neutrality; of balance. Salem, due to representing balance, also represents life. Salem shows how life is a combination of good and bad. Everything has good, and everything has bad. And they come together to form life. To form existence. Salem is shown physically as a black fox, representing a neutral animal.
Ranks of the Cult
Here is a list of all non-special ranks in the Cult of Lobsterphone, listed in order of highest to lowest, and a quick summary of what they do.
- Lobsterphonite: The owner of the cult. Only one.
- Head Priest: Second in command for the cult. Only one.
- Cardinal: Highest rank a member can usually obtain. Can vote in polls.
- Archbishop: Command groups of bishops. Serve under a cardinal.
- Bishop: In a group with other bishops, working for an archbishop
- Initiate: One who is brand new to the cult. Doesn't have any work.
